Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin chaired a meeting with the party’s newly appointed national general secretaries at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday.
The leaders discussed the party’s future electoral strategy, organisational matters and the INDIA bloc’s planned anti-SIR protests on November 1.
BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh attended the meeting alongside Vinod Tawde, Smriti Irani, Biplab Kumar Deb, Sunil Bansal, Satish Poonia, Sanjay Bhatia and other leaders.
The party shared photographs of the meeting on X and said Nabin had held detailed discussions on the upcoming action plan and various organisational issues.

The meeting came after the BJP’s performance in the recent Legislative Council (MLC) elections across 28 seats in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka.
The results dealt a setback to the Congress and boosted the BJP’s morale, although the party faced electoral setbacks in some of its strongholds.
According to reports, Nabin and the general secretaries discussed plans for the BJP’s campaign ahead of Assembly elections in several states next year. They further examined ways to counter the Congress-led INDIA bloc’s allegations of irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise and claims of ‘vote chori’.
On Wednesday, Nabin led a march through Delhi’s Chandni Chowk to counter the Opposition’s allegations concerning electoral malpractices, the SIR exercise and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
The march formed part of the BJP’s broader ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ campaign.
The leaders discussed measures to strengthen the party’s mass outreach, communicate its position on voter revision and respond to the Opposition’s allegations of vote manipulation.
