“Deep Utsav” is an integral part of Sanatan Tradition : CM

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Aditya Nath , has directed  the concerned officials  regarding  smooth organization of “Deep Utsav” and availability of facilities.Deep Utsav is an integral part of our Santana tradition,he added.

He further said that this religious extravaganza is sensitive in context to law and order aspect. Therefore we should be constantly alert and cautious.

CM added that  like every year, this time too the Deep Utsav, will be starting from November 7, should be completed amidst peace and harmony, so that all necessary efforts should be made keeping in mind the local needs.He gave clear orders to deal strictly with zero tolerance policy towards those issuing mischievous statements. Complete strictness should be taken against the unruly elements trying to spoil the atmosphere, he added.

. This Maryada Purushottam is a sacred memory of the return of Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita and Lakshman ji to Ayodhya after 14 years of forest stay.

In Ayodhya “Deep Utsav”, there will also be symbolic depiction of events like Lord Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya, Bharat Milap, Shri Ram’s coronation etc.

Chief Minister added  that the Aarti of Saryu Maiya will also be performed. Ramlilas of four  countries and 24 states will be staged. The whole world has its eyes on this event. Therefore, there should be no reduction in its grandeur. A large number of devotees will participate to see the grandeur of the festival of lights.

Ayodhya “Deep Utsav” is gaining recognition in the whole world for its grandeur. Every year since 2017, Deepotsav is making a new record. Avadhpuri will be illuminated with 21 lakh lamps in this year’s “Deep Utsav”. For this, proper arrangements should be made for lamp, oil, wick, place, volunteers .

Apart from the main ceremony, all the religious places, monasteries and temples of Ayodhya city should be decorated. Many dignitaries will also be present on this occasion. In such a situation, there should be strong security arrangements. There should be no margin for error.

The ceremony should be telecast live at various places in Ayodhya district, so that more and more people can join the festival of lights.

CM further directed  that after the main function is over, proper planning should be done so that people can easily reach their destination. There should be arrangements to take women, children and foreign artists home safely. To avoid a stampede situation, adequate police force should be deployed.
