At the National Jyotish Conference held in Varanasi, Acharya Pawan Tripathi, Treasurer of Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, received special recognition for his outstanding contributions to astrology.
The two-day conference took place at RK Grand Hotel, Sigra, Varanasi. It brought together leading scholars and practitioners of Jyotish from across the country.

Acharya Tripathi is also the editor of Astrology Today magazine and serves as Vice-President of the Mumbai BJP. As Treasurer of Shri Siddhivinayak Ganpati Temple Trust, he has authored several books on astrology.
During a panel discussion on ‘India’s Future and Global Influence through the Lens of Astrology’, Acharya Tripathi said, “Being honoured in Varanasi, the city of knowledge and religion, marks a significant milestone in my life.”
He said, “The greatest fortune is to be recognised among so many scholars in Kashi.”
He highlighted Kashi’s historical importance as a centre of learning, culture, and Vedic wisdom.
Acharya Tripathi emphasised that astrology is a pure science dating back to Vedic times and was studied at ancient universities like Nalanda and Takshashila.
He noted that Jyotish has historically guided major projects and initiatives through auspicious timings.
“Just as yoga has gained global acceptance, I am confident that one day astrology too will achieve worldwide recognition,” he stated.
