Anurag Thakur Accuses INDIA Alliance of Seeking to Eradicate Sanatan Dharma

In the aftermath of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader and minister Anitha R Radhakrishnan facing criticism for reportedly using expletives against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a public rally, Union Minister Anurag Thakur lambasted the INDIA bloc, asserting that they show no reluctance in hurling abuses at PM Modi in their bid to undermine Sanatan Dharma.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Thakur expressed his dismay, stating, “The conscience of INDIA alliance leaders has perished. Their statements reveal a desire to undermine ‘Sanatan Dharam’. They do not hesitate to resort to abusive language against PM Modi.”

He continued, “Yesterday, a minister from the INDIA alliance, in the presence of a female leader of his party, used highly derogatory remarks in objectionable language against the Prime Minister of the country. The words directed towards the world’s most popular leader are reprehensible and have no place in a democracy.”

Thakur stressed the unacceptable nature of derogatory comments against the Prime Minister, emphasizing that democracy cannot tolerate such abusive language. He demanded an apology from INDIA and criticized Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge for their silence on the matter, insinuating that it indicates their complicity in undermining Sanatan values.

Reacting to the alleged derogatory remark, K Annamalai, the BJP’s Tamil Nadu unit president, condemned the DMK’s “uncouth behavior,” vowing to pursue the issue with the election commission and the state police chief for swift and stringent action against Radhakrishnan.

Taking a swipe at Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in light of the recent hooch tragedy claiming 21 lives, Thakur criticized Mann’s silence and absence of action in addressing the incident. Thakur also accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of orchestrating a liquor scam and accused Mann of protecting liquor traders while neglecting the victims of the tragedy in his constituency.

“Do the people of India approve of the inactive Punjab government and the Delhi government operating from jail?” Thakur questioned, highlighting the moral degradation of politicians who once spoke against corruption but now face allegations of engaging in immoral acts.

Thakur concluded by asserting that the people of India have witnessed the true colors of Arvind Kejriwal and his corrupt ideology.
