Angry Congress MLAs Head to Delhi, Set to Confront High Command

Ranchi: Frustrated by their exclusion from the Jharkhand cabinet, Congress MLAs departed for Delhi late on Saturday evening to voice their grievances directly to the party’s high command. Following the cabinet expansion on February 16, where incumbent Congress MLAs were reappointed as ministers without any new additions, discontent brewed among those advocating for change.

On Saturday, the Congress MLAs convened for a meeting at Ranchi’s Raso Hotel before unanimously deciding to travel to Delhi. MLA Anoop Singh’s response to inquiries about the discontentment was noncommittal, sparking further speculation. Meanwhile, Jharia MLA Purnima Neeraj Singh was reportedly absent from Ranchi, while MLAs residing outside Ranchi proceeded directly to the airport. Each MLA who arrived at the airport openly acknowledged their displeasure.

The following MLAs departed for Delhi:

– Jamtara MLA Irfan Ansari
– Barhi MLA Uma Shankar Akela
– Bermo MLA Kumar Jaimangal Singh, also known as Anup Singh
– Mahagama MLA Deepika Pandey Singh
– Manika MLA Ramchandra Singh
– Naman Viksal Kongadi
– Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap
– Chakradharpur MLA Sona Ram Sinku
– Simdega MLA Bhushan Bada
– Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad
