Anant Ambani Pre Wedding Ceremony
The pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani, the youngest scion of the Ambani family and industrialist, alongside his fiancée Radhika Merchant, commenced with a heartfelt gesture of Anna Seva. In Jogwad village near the Reliance Township in Jamnagar, Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and other esteemed members of the Ambani family, joined by Radhika’s maternal grandmother and parents, Viren and Shaila Merchant, came together to serve traditional Gujarati fare to the villagers. Approximately 51 thousand residents will be treated to these meals over the coming days.
This act of Anna Seva has been organized by the Ambani family to seek the blessings of the local community for the upcoming nuptial celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Following the meal, attendees were treated to the melodious strains of traditional folk music, with renowned Gujarati singer Kirtidan Gadhvi captivating the audience with his performance.
The tradition of serving food holds deep roots within the Ambani family, having been a customary practice during auspicious family occasions for generations. Moreover, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Reliance Foundation, under the guidance of Anant Ambani’s mother, Nita Ambani, undertook the monumental task of running the world’s largest food distribution program. In continuing this legacy of philanthropy and community service, Anant Ambani has chosen to commence his pre-wedding celebrations with the noble act of Anna Seva.
