Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the All India Speakers’ Conference on 24 August at the Delhi Assembly. Speaker Vijender Gupta announced the event on Monday.
At a press conference, Gupta said that 32 Speakers, Deputy Speakers, Chairmen, and Deputy Chairmen have confirmed their participation.
“This is the first time in India that such an event is happening,” he said.
Gupta stated that the inaugural session will be held on 24 August, with Amit Shah delivering the opening address. The event will bring together presiding officers from various state legislatures across the country.
The valedictory function will take place on 25 August. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will attend as the chief guest.
Gupta emphasised that the All India Speakers’ Conference will provide a historic platform for dialogue and collaboration among legislative leaders.
