Adani Group Partners With Gita Press To Serve Devotees At Maha Kumbh 2025

As Maha Kumbh 2025 draws unprecedented enthusiasm from devotees, industrialists across India are stepping forward to contribute to the sacred event. Leading industrialist Gautam Adani is joining forces with a 101-year-old institution, Gita Press, to provide essential services to pilgrims. Together, they are distributing Aarti collections for free, ensuring that devotees have access to spiritual materials during the Kumbh Mela.

Gita Press, known as the world’s largest publisher of Hindu literature, is no stranger to serving the spiritual community. Founded in 1923, Gita Press started in a modest rented room in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and has since earned worldwide recognition for its contributions to Hindu culture.

The press has continued to thrive, with significant milestones, including the inauguration of Gita Press Bhawan by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, India’s first President, in 1955. On June 4, 2022, President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the centenary celebrations at Gita Press.

Adani Group’s partnership with Gita Press marks a significant step towards promoting Indian spirituality. Under this collaboration, they have set a goal to distribute one crore copies of the Aarti collection, aiming to enhance the spiritual experience of devotees during the Maha Kumbh.

Aarti Collection For Devotees

The Aarti collection, which includes 102 aartis dedicated to various gods and goddesses such as Ganesha, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Lakshmi-Narayan, and Durga, is distributing across the Kumbh Mela area.

These aartis include Vedic prayers and other traditional hymns that are deeply cherished in Hindu rituals. Gita Press publishes three versions of the Aarti collection books, ensuring that devotees have access to a wide variety of spiritual content.

Adani Group’s Role In Enhancing Devotee Experience

Beyond the distribution of spiritual literature, Adani Group is also providing significant support to the devotees attending the Maha Kumbh. In Sector-19 of the Mela grounds, Adani Group has partnered with ISKCON to offer Mahaprasad at 40 locations. Each day, around 1 lakh devotees benefit from this service, ensuring that they can partake in sacred meals during their visit.

Additionally, Adani Group has set up a free golf cart service to assist elderly, disabled, and mothers with young children, making it easier for these devotees to reach the Triveni bath and participate in religious rituals.

This initiative underscores Adani Group’s commitment to enhancing the overall experience for those attending the Kumbh Mela.

Through this collaboration, Gautam Adani and Gita Press are working together to honor India’s spiritual traditions. As the Maha Kumbh 2025 unfolds, the joint efforts of these two entities are ensuring that millions of devotees are not only spiritually nourished but also physically supported during this monumental event.

With a shared vision of promoting Indian culture and spirituality, Adani Group and Gita Press are helping to make the Maha Kumbh Mela a more inclusive and spiritually enriching experience for all.
