Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Centre, Acharya Lokeshji, will address the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana, Kazakhstan, from September 15 to 18.
The conference will be held under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the theme ‘Dialogue of Religions: Harmony for the Future’.
Acharya Lokeshji will represent Jainism and India alongside global faith leaders, including HH Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, OIC Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Youssef al-Dobey, and President of the World Fellowship of Buddhists Phallop Thaiarry.
More than 100 religious and public leaders from 60 countries will participate.
Positioned as a World Peace Ambassador, Acharya Lokeshji will hold peace meetings with representatives from Ukraine, Russia, Israel, and Palestine. He will also engage with leaders of Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Zoroastrianism to discuss pathways to end ongoing wars and promote harmony.
In one of the key sessions, Acharya Lokeshji will deliver an address on ‘Spiritual Values in the Age of Digital Reality and Artificial Intelligence’. His intervention will highlight the role of spirituality in balancing technological advancement with human values.
Acharya Lokeshji will also extend invitations to global leaders for a forthcoming seminar on peace and harmony at the World Peace Centre in India, reinforcing India’s role as a hub for interfaith dialogue and global peacebuilding.
