A New Chapter In Rural Education As JHI English Academy Opens In Saharanpur

A major boost to rural education was witnessed on Saturday. The occasion marked the formal inauguration of JHI English Academy in Chaubara village of Saharanpur district.

The event was led by RSS leader and Muslim Rashtriya Manch Margdarshak Dr Indresh Kumar. He attended as the chief guest and highlighted the transformative role of education beyond academic qualifications.

Addressing a gathering of educationists, social thinkers and residents, Dr Indresh Kumar described the occasion as deeply meaningful. He said the assembly was rooted in humanity and faith.

Dr Indresh Kumar encouraged the youth to view their identity as a source of strength. He also reiterated that the Indian Constitution guarantees equal rights to all citizens. Stressing confidence and responsibility, he called upon young people to actively contribute to positive social change.

Setting out the institution’s guiding philosophy, Academy Director Mrs Aliya Jamal explained that JHI English Academy aims to go beyond conventional teaching methods.

She stated that the focus would be on nurturing values, strengthening cultural awareness and teaching students essential life skills. Expressing optimism, she said the academy would emerge as a centre for social and moral development.

A Beacon for Society

Prof Dr Shahid Akhtar, Officiating Chairman of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, described the academy as a moral and spiritual influence. He said it was far more than just a physical institution.

Echoing this sentiment, senior leader and Member of Parliament Jagadambika Pal said the academy will shape future leaders. He described the day as a historic milestone for the region.

Colonel Tahir Mustafa, Registrar of Jamia Hamdard, broadened the idea of service to the nation, stating that every individual contributing honestly in their field serves the country. He emphasised that education is key to eliminating prejudice and fostering harmony in society.

Renowned academic Prof Dr Imran Chowdhury from the University of Delhi highlighted education as the strongest tool for community advancement, expressing concern over school dropout rates.

The ceremony concluded with a shared resolve from dignitaries and community representatives that JHI English Academy would work tirelessly to promote knowledge, character, justice and nation-building.
