25 Women From Prayagraj Complete Sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

A group of 25 women from Prayagraj has successfully completed the sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, achieving a significant milestone in a journey defined by devotion, perseverance and spiritual strength.

Led by Dr Ritu Jain, founder of Prayagraj Pacers Foundation, and BJP leader Kavita Tripathi, the group undertook the revered pilgrimage to Mount Kailash, one of the holiest sites in Hinduism.

On 2 June, the pilgrims completed a demanding 13-kilometre trek from Yamdwar to the North Face of Mount Kailash.

Despite challenging terrain and high-altitude conditions, all members of the group successfully reached the destination and offered prayers for global peace, prosperity and the welfare of humanity after witnessing the sacred abode of Lord Shiva.

Speaking after the pilgrimage, Kavita Tripathi described the experience as life-changing. She said that merely witnessing Mount Kailash and feeling the divine presence of Lord Shiva is a blessing that enriches one’s life.

Tripathi said the journey reflected both faith and women’s empowerment, adding that the women of Prayagraj had carried the spirit of the Sangam city to Kailash.

Dr Ritu Jain described the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra as a cherished dream for every Sanatani and praised the participants for completing the challenging trek with courage and devotion. She called the achievement a historic moment for Prayagraj, saying the 25 women had set an inspiring example of faith, determination and women’s empowerment.
