12 Years Dedicated To Trust, Development And Public Welfare, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that a decade-long focus on citizen welfare, inclusive growth, and empowerment has helped India emerge as a more influential and respected nation on the international stage. He asserted that the government’s efforts would continue with renewed determination as it works towards transforming India into a developed nation in the coming decades.

With June 10 marking the completion of 12 years of the PM Modi-led administration at the Centre, the Prime Minister reflected on the government’s journey and its key accomplishments since assuming office in 2014.

In a message shared on X, PM Modi said the administration has consistently prioritised the interests of the nation while introducing initiatives aimed at uplifting farmers, women, and young citizens. He noted that large-scale investments in infrastructure, combined with rapid digital advancement, have contributed to reshaping India’s image and competitiveness globally.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the vision of Viksit Bharat remains at the heart of the government’s agenda. He said continued improvements in governance, public service delivery, and economic growth would play a crucial role in achieving that objective.

According to him, the progress made over the past 12 years provides a strong foundation for future development and prosperity.

The milestone also carries historical significance, as PM Modi is set to become India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister.

Upon completing 4,399 days in office on June 10, the Prime Minister will move ahead of Jawaharlal Nehru’s record as the longest-serving leader elected consecutively by the people after the establishment of India’s electoral system.

Having secured victories in three successive general elections in 2014, 2019, and 2024, PM Modi continues to lead the government in his third uninterrupted term.

Major Infrastructure and Development Initiatives

Major developments include the new Parliament complex, the Central Vista project, Kartavya Path, Vande Bharat trains, the Statue of Unity, the indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, the Kashmir rail connectivity project, Noida International Airport, the Namo Bharat rapid transit system, and the Ganga Expressway.
