Mangal Dhillon passes away
Mangal Dhillon, a renowned actor and director of Hindi and Punjabi films, has tragically passed away. He lost the battle with cancer after a long illness. Before he died away, Mangal was admitted to a hospital in Ludhiana. Further information regarding his funeral rites is awaited. Just one week before his birthday, on June 18, Mangal Dhillon died. Mangal Dhillon was born into a Sikh family, in faridko the district of punjab.
His family members took to his social media to update fans about his demise.
“Aaj sadde Harman piyare Mangal Dhillon ji Sanu sariyan nu alvida keh ke akal chalana kar gaye ne… waheguru ji ohna nu sachkhand vich apne charna vich niwas bakshe.. (Today, our dear Mangal Dhillon has said his last farewell to us. May Waheguru bless him),” the note.
According to actor Yashpal Sharma, Mangal Dhillon has been suffering badly for a while. He was admitted to the Cancer Hospital in Ludhiana, where he passed away this morning. Yashpal Sharma expressed his grief over the actor’s passing on social media. He wrote “Mangal Dhillon ji RIP.”
The late actor also acted in a theatre in Delhi. In 1980, he finished his post-graduate acting diploma program. With the tv show Katha Sagar, Mangal made his debut in the entertainment business in 1986. He made an appearance in another Television show that year called Buniyaad. Junoon, Kismat, The Great Maratha, Panther, Ghutan, Sahil, Maulana Azad, Mujrim Hazir, Rishta, Yug, and Noorjahan are just a few of the other programs in which he has worked.
Mangal Dhillon has also been seen in several motion pictures, like Train to Pakistan, Dalaal, Khoon Bhari Maang, Zakhmi Aurat, Dayavan, Kahan Hai Kanoon, Naaka Bandi, Amba, Akayla, and many more.
In 2017, he last played Lakha in the movie Toofan Singh.
