Rihanna Joins Ambani Family For Private Lunch During Mumbai Visit

Global music icon Rihanna has returned to India after two years, arriving in Mumbai to mark the launch of her makeup brand, Fenty Beauty. The visit, facilitated by Reliance Retail, celebrates the brand’s exclusive availability in India through Tira and Sephora.

On Sunday, Rihanna visited the Ambani family residence in Mumbai. She received a grand traditional welcome, followed by an intimate lunch with family members.

The event brought together key members of the Ambani family, including Isha Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and Anant Ambani.

For the occasion, Rihanna chose an olive-grey maxi dress with a subtle metallic sheen, featuring a high neckline and flowing bell sleeves. The outfit included ruching details around the waist, offering both structure and ease of movement.

Rihanna accessorised with a black and silver necklace, toe-ring sandals and a black clutch. She completed the look with loose curls, minimal make-up and nude lipstick.

The singer appeared to fully embrace the traditional welcome, dancing to music and playfully tossing flowers at her hosts. Her interaction reflected a sense of ease and familiarity, highlighting her growing connection with the family.

This visit follows her earlier appearance at the pre-wedding celebrations of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani. The event took place in Jamnagar in March 2024.

At the time, Rihanna delivered her first private concert in eight years, performing popular tracks such as Work and Diamonds for an audience of 1,200 guests. Since then, she has been seen sharing a warm rapport with the family, particularly with Radhika Merchant.

During her current visit, Rihanna participated in several traditional activities, including performing aarti, feeding ladoos to a cow, and trying fugadi, a folk dance popular in Maharashtra, Goa, and the Konkan region. She also interacted with younger members of the family, with exotic birds such as macaws present during the celebrations.
