Santirani Chakraborty
The death of Santirani Chakraborty, the mother of famous Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty, was confirmed by the actor’s youngest son Namashi Chakraborty on Friday, June 6. Nimashi answered, “Yes, the story is real. I spoke to Anand Bazaar Online to confirm the death of my grandmother. Grandma is not with us anymore. Santirani’s cause of death has not yet been made public.
Mithun lost his father Basantokumar Chakraborty on April 21, 2020, when he passed away from kidney failure. He was 95. According to reports, Basanta Kumar Chakraborty died on Tuesday night after suffering age-related health concerns. Namashi Chakraborty even confirmed this tragic news. In an interview with PTI, Namashi stated, “Yes, my grandfather passed away last evening due to kidney failure.” He further said that his actor father is attempting to get to Mumbai for the funeral but is detained in Bengaluru because of the statewide shutdown caused by the coronavirus.
Mithun had previously talked openly about his parents during an interview. “My parents never realized that I had finally become a Bollywood star,” he had previously claimed. They never accepted the reality that their son is a well-known movie star, and they had no interest in learning more about it either. They were uncomplicated, conventional, and led straightforward lives. Although he worked as a supervisor at a government telephone exchange office, my father was a content man.
