Milind Soman Relishes 20km Swim In Goa; Describes It As Beautiful Experience

Milind Soman, actor and endurance enthusiast, achieved a new personal milestone by completing a 20-kilometre open-water swim in Goa. He completed the demanding challenge in nearly eight hours.

Soman shared the update through social media, expressing immense satisfaction after finishing the longest swim of his life.

He described the experience as both exhilarating and deeply fulfilling. He emphasised that swimming in the sea offers unpredictability due to tides, currents, and weather conditions.

Soman’s partner, Ankita Konwar, also participated and successfully swam eight kilometres. Soman thanked her and the members of the Goa Open Water Swim Club for their consistent support during the endurance activity.

Sharing glimpses from the swim, Soman highlighted the adventure and natural beauty of long-distance sea swimming. Konwar responded warmly, praising his effort and calling the experience enjoyable.

At 60, Soman continues to inspire fitness enthusiasts with his discipline and resilience. He remains a prominent advocate for active living and holistic health practices.

Earlier in March, Soman reflected on evolving lifestyle preferences among urban residents. He noted that many individuals now seek greener surroundings, open spaces, and a calmer environment beyond metropolitan areas.

He observed that several people are relocating, purchasing land, and even exploring farming.

However, Soman acknowledged the enduring appeal of Mumbai. He stated that the city’s vibrancy, energy, and dynamic pace continue to attract residents despite its challenges.

Milind Soman’s recent achievement reinforces his commitment to physical endurance and balanced living. It also highlights the growing appeal of outdoor fitness pursuits.
