Actor Vijay Deverakonda Embraces Imperfections, Reflects on Upcoming Film “Kushi”

Vijay Deverakonda, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, opened up about his perspective on success and setbacks. The actor, known for his roles in films such as “Arjun Reddy” and “Dear Comrade,” expressed that he values a triumphant outcome with mixed reviews more than praise from critics.

Deverakonda’s recent release “Liger” experienced a lackluster reception at the box office, a familiar experience for the actor who has encountered his share of ups and downs throughout his 12-year journey in cinema. While speaking at the trailer launch of his upcoming Telugu film “Kushi,” Deverakonda shared his insights.

The forthcoming film “Kushi” narrates the story of Viplab and Aradhaya, a couple who brave adversities to unite in matrimony, only to uncover the complex reality that marriage entails.

Deverakonda acknowledged that failure is an integral part of the path to success. “Success is about confronting failures, adapting, rectifying mistakes, and progressing,” he explained, highlighting the constant cycle of learning and growth. The actor recognized the broader picture beyond momentary achievements, underlining the significance of continuous self-improvement.

Deverakonda candidly addressed his experience with “Liger,” admitting that he took considerable time to come to terms with his own oversight. “I questioned myself: How could I have missed this?” he reflected.

My work will speak: Vijay Deverakonda

The actor has gleaned valuable lessons from this experience and is now adopting a different approach. “I used to openly label films as blockbusters based on my assessment. Now, I’ve decided to let my work speak for itself and stay silent about the next three films,” he revealed.

Discussing “Kushi,” Deverakonda emphasized its distinctness as a narrative centered around an ordinary couple, making it relatable to audiences across India. He shared his belief that love transcends language barriers, portraying emotions like yearning, affection, and missing someone. These universal sentiments create a powerful bond between the film and its viewers.
