Young filmmaker Anupriya Nagar received a special felicitation at Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital in Sanjay Nagar, Ghaziabad, on Sunday. The honour followed the ₹100-crore success of ‘Hanuman Ansh’. The film is based on the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba.
The Yashoda Hospital family praised Nagar for taking Indian culture and Sanatan values to audiences worldwide.
The hospital management announced lifelong free medical care for every member of the film’s team.
Expressing gratitude, Anupriya Nagar highlighted, “In my eyes, there is no difference between God and a doctor. When a person is going through extreme suffering and pain, the first person they remember is a doctor. Doctors not only save lives, but give people new hope to live. Coming to Yashoda Hospital made me feel as though I had come among my own family.”
The ceremony featured bhajans, with Nagar joining women and guests in the devotional celebrations.
Yashoda Hospital Chairman Dr Dinesh Arora, Dr Shashi Arora, Dr Rajat Arora and astrologer Dr Nitesha Malhotra attended the event.
“Anupriya has achieved at such a young age what even many established stalwarts cannot accomplish. She has undertaken the noble task of taking our Indian culture, saintly traditions and Sanatan values to the new generation and to the entire world. I proudly call her the ‘Daughter of India’,” Dr Dinesh Arora said.
Nagar recalled her ‘UK to UK’ journey from the United Kingdom to Uttarakhand and said she sought blessings from saints when she lacked a major promotion budget. She credited Premanand Maharaj Ji, Acharya Pramod Krishnam, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj with guiding her.
Nagar urged young people to stop chasing external validation and remain grateful for the present. She said ‘Hanuman Ansh’ aimed to bring calmness and spirituality to children and young audiences. She confirmed plans for ‘Hanuman Ansh Part 2’ and said the team would prepare the sequel carefully while seeking blessings at Shri Kalki Dham.
