Radhika Merchant Performs Bharatanatyam To ‘Ekadantaya Vakratundaya’ At Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

Radhika Merchant celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with a graceful Bharatanatyam performance dedicated to Lord Ganesha. She danced to the soulful devotional track ‘Ekadantaya Vakratundaya’, adding a traditional and spiritual touch to the festive celebrations.

For the performance, Radhika wore a vibrant pink and red lehenga saree featuring intricate embroidery and embellishments. She paired it with a matching blouse adorned with detailed beadwork, creating an elegant festive look.

Radhika completed her appearance with a sleek centre-parted hairstyle, soft waves, a traditional matha patti and a floral gajra.

Statement jewellery, including elaborate earrings, layered bangles and a matching necklace, further enhanced her traditional ensemble.

Radhika’s performance came as the Ambani family celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 at their South Mumbai residence, Antilia.

The family welcomed their idol, ‘Antilia Cha Raja’, on the evening of September 13, with the residence decorated with thousands of warm lights and elaborate floral installations.

Nita Ambani, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant took part in the welcoming rituals.

Videos from the celebration showed Nita Ambani and Radhika dancing to the beats of dhols as flower petals were showered during the idol’s arrival.

The festivities continued on September 14, with several Bollywood celebrities and prominent personalities visiting Antilia for darshan.

Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kajol and Sachin Tendulkar with his family were among those who attended the celebrations.

Radhika’s devotional dance added a cultural and artistic dimension to the family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, blending classical Indian dance with the festive spirit of the occasion.
