The world bids farewell to Gopichand Parmanand Hinduja, who passed away on 4th November 2025, at the age of 84.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, 7th November, at 9:00 AM at the Chilterns Crematorium, Whielden Lane, Amersham (HP7 0ND).
Ample car parking will be available for those attending.
Later in the day, the family, friends, and associates will gather at 4:00 PM in the Ballroom of Raffles London at The OWO, 57 Whitehall, London (SW1A 2BX), to celebrate his life and legacy during a memorial service.
Born on 29th January 1941, Gopichand P Hinduja, affectionately known as GP, carried forward the vision of the Hinduja family founded by his father, Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja.
His leadership transformed the Hinduja Group into one of the world’s most respected conglomerates, spanning sectors such as finance, energy, mobility, healthcare, and technology.
Yet beyond business, Gopichand Hinduja actively dedicated himself to philanthropy and social welfare.
Under his stewardship, the Hinduja Foundation expanded its humanitarian reach, supporting education, healthcare, and cultural preservation projects globally.
Furthermore, his life’s work reflected the family’s timeless motto: ‘My duty is to work; the results are with God’.
Gopichand Hinduja embodied integrity, optimism, and unity — values that inspired generations of entrepreneurs and leaders across the world.
His unwavering belief in the power of family, faith, and community remains a cornerstone of the Hinduja Group’s ethos.
Moreover, the Hinduja family, in announcing the services, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of condolences and affection from around the world.
