Air India announced on Sunday that it is canceling flights to and from Tel Aviv till October 14.
On Saturday, Israel was attacked by the Hamas group, and since then, both sides have been engaged in warfare in which scores of people have perished.
“For the safety of our passengers and crew, our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended until October 14, 2023”, an airline representative stated in a statement.
The airline will provide all feasible assistance to passengers who have confirmed bookings on any aircraft during this time period, according to the spokesperson.
From the national capital, the full-service carrier provides five weekly flights to Tel Aviv. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday are the days that the service is available.

The airline also canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv on Saturday.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed solidarity with Israel following an attack on the country by Hamas militants.
PM Modi called it ‘terrorist attacks’ in Israel, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the country is at war.
