Adani University Revamps Curriculum With AI, Industry-Focused Learning

Adani University has announced a comprehensive revision of its academic curriculum for the 2026–27 academic session, introducing artificial intelligence-focused education, stronger industry integration and enhanced holistic learning.

The redesigned curriculum spans Engineering, Science and Management programmes and aims to prepare students for the evolving demands of an AI-powered workforce while strengthening practical knowledge and ethical values.

The university has introduced a compulsory course, AI for Engineers, for all Engineering and Science students.

The programme will build foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.

The university has also embedded AI concepts across multiple disciplines to help students adapt to technology-driven industries.

The Faculty of Management Sciences has revamped its flagship MBA in Infrastructure Management programme.

The revised syllabus includes artificial intelligence, analytics, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and Indian Knowledge Systems.

Students will also benefit from sector-specific specialisations, internships and capstone projects that strengthen practical experience.

According to the university, the curriculum has been developed after extensive benchmarking with leading national and international institutions and consultations with industry experts and academicians.

The changes align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and focus on employability, innovation and comprehensive student development.

The university has also integrated Indian Knowledge Systems through mandatory credit-based courses and discipline-specific modules covering India’s scientific heritage, philosophy, ethics and sustainability.

To enhance experiential learning, students will complete three structured internships. These include community service after the first year, professional development after the second year and industry training after the third year.

The curriculum also offers flexible learning through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). It includes interdisciplinary electives and minor specialisations. Students can choose from areas such as Robotics, VLSI Design and Financial Data Analytics.

Adani University has further strengthened hands-on education by introducing e-Yantra, an IIT Bombay initiative. It has also launched project-based courses in hardware and software development.

In addition, Studio Learning modules encourage practical problem-solving from the first year onward.
