(Express Editorial) Life under attack with blaring sirens & numbing silence

No doubt, attack on terror is the need of the hour, but will that suffice? The terror show will go on if not on Gaza strip, some where else in the Middle East.

Question here is – Is it a revenge or a solution? The obvious answer says it is both. Or in other words the revenge is the only solution.

Is that a victory you get after your revenge? Or that is the satisfaction you needed? Here in Israel-Hamas case it is more than a satisfaction. And in the same manner it is more than a revenge.

Decades of frustration and anger has now gotten its vent. The Jewish nation had been facing wars and war-like situation from all around its territory for decades. What to say about Palestine in general and Hamas in particular who are born to create troubles against its peaceful existence. Israel now have received a chance and an occasion as well to get rid of the pain for good.

The living through air-raid sirens in Gaza strip was not properly over, when living through memories have to be gone through for the people of Israel. The account of the events of October 7 from Jerusalem can never be perished when Hamas mounted an all-out attack on Israel and the people on South Israel had no clue about what was happening.

Now after the nightmare the pain has shifted to the other side. They have no clue what to do with this. Death is nearing each and every moment, but the decision of attacking Israel and staying back in Gaza even after the pause-period given by the IDF to get out of the strip -was the harakiri.

Now the blaring sirens and numbing silence are what they have to live with. Invited pain against the satisfaction of revenge is what they are almost left with.

When blood is more terrorizing than pain, what about death? Though the death of terror demons is same as it is to any human, still we do not feel like feeling their pain in our bosom since they are reaping what they had sown.
