With a 76% rating, PM Modi Is Still The Most Well-Liked Leader In The World

According to a Morning Consult survey, Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintained his place at the top of a list of world leaders’ approval ratings with 76%.

PM Modi is number 1 in the global ranking.

According to the ‘Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker’ from a US-based consultancy firm, 76% of people are satisfied with PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, compared to 18% who are dissatisfied and 6% who did not express an opinion.

Alain Berset, the president of Switzerland, is ranked second with a 64% approval rating, followed by Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the president of Mexico, with a 61% approval rating. Modi is praised for successfully hosting the G20 Summit in New Delhi earlier this month.

The rating was also posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who stated, “The recent Morning Consult study reveals that PM Narendra Modi Ji’s popularity among world leaders remains unsurpassed. This is a global acknowledgment of Modi Ji’s unwavering successes in rescuing millions of people from poverty, his altruistic efforts to raise their standard of living, and the people’s unwavering faith in him. It also serves as a monument to the effectiveness of the Modi philosophy in foreign policy.

Modi had been at the top of the list in previous rankings as well.

Joe Biden, the US president, has a 40% approval rating; Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister, has a 37% approval rating; Rishi Sunak, the UK president, has a 27% approval rating; and Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, has a 24% approval rating.
