US President Hails Passage Of ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ As Start Of New Chapter For America

US President Donald Trump has praised the House of Representatives for passing what he called the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’, referring to it as a major achievement that marks the start of a new chapter for the country.

A signing event is likely at the White House on Friday evening.

Taking to Truth Social, President Trump wrote, “The Republicans in the House of Representatives have just passed the “ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT.” Our Party is UNITED like never before and, our Country is “HOT.” We are going to have a Signing Celebration at the White House tomorrow, at 4 P.M. EST. Together, we will celebrate our Nation’s Independence, and the beginning of our new Golden Age.”

Trump went on to say the bill would lead to a stronger, wealthier, and more confident nation.

“The people of the United States of America will be Richer, Safer, and Prouder than ever before. Thank you to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, and all of the wonderful Republican Members of Congress who helped us deliver on our Promises, and so much more. Together, we can do things that were not even imagined possible less than one year ago. We will keep working, and winning — CONGRATULATIONS AMERICA!” he added.

White House hails landmark legislation

The White House confirmed the passage of the bill by the House, describing it as a significant legislative milestone of Trump’s second term in office.

The measure, known as the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’, had already cleared the Senate earlier in the week.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the legislation fulfils key campaign promises made by President Trump.

“President Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill delivers on the commonsense agenda that nearly 80 million Americans voted for – the largest middle-class tax cut in history, permanent border security, massive military funding, and restoring fiscal sanity. The pro-growth policies within this historic legislation are going to fuel an economic boom like we’ve never seen before. President Trump looks forward to signing the One Big, Beautiful Bill into law to officially usher in the Golden Age of America,” she stated.

On Thursday, House Republicans gave final approval to the comprehensive bill, which covers major tax reductions, spending reforms, and boosts in defence and border security budgets. It will now head to the President’s desk for signing.

This victory for the Republican Party arrives just six months into President Trump’s second term, marking a fast-paced legislative success that had faced uncertainty until the final vote.
