Three Nations, Three Leaders, One Message: PM Modi’s Diplomacy Wins Praise

Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his three-nation visit to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand on Saturday, with the tour reflecting a diplomatic approach built on personal trust alongside strategic cooperation.

The visit went beyond routine engagements as leader-level rapport supported stronger bilateral partnerships across several sectors.

In Indonesia, President Prabowo Subianto publicly described himself as a great admirer of PM Modi. He said he had studied and adopted several of PM Modi’s successful programmes for Indonesia. He also called the visit a historic milestone and personally welcomed the Prime Minister.

Both nations signed agreements covering defence, critical minerals, education and technology, turning goodwill into concrete cooperation.

In Australia, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese described PM Modi as ‘the boss’ and ‘a dear friend’, according to media reports. He also called the Indian-Australian community a living bridge between the two countries.

PM Anthony Albanese’s warm gestures and public remarks reflected the growing strength of India-Australia relations beyond trade and regional security.

During the final leg of the visit, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon praised India’s transformation under PM Modi’s leadership. He said he had huge admiration for the Prime Minister and described India’s progress in innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development as remarkable.

PM Luxon also said each visit to India strengthened his respect for the country’s achievements.

The tour focused on expanding cooperation in energy, maritime security, defence, critical minerals and the digital economy.

The combination of personal rapport and strategic collaboration strengthened India’s diplomatic engagement.

Photographs from the visit showed PM Modi and PM Christopher Luxon exchanging warm greetings, embraces and farewells alongside honour guards and national flags, highlighting the cordial atmosphere.

The tour demonstrated India’s growing diplomatic confidence by combining leadership, trust and long-term strategic partnerships.
