Saudi Gentleman Helps Indian Driver Paying Rs 2Cr For His Release From Jail

The Saudi man, in the words of the Indian driver, is a God-sent messiah away from his motherland on Arabian soil. The gentleman helped the driver paying Rs 2 cr for getting released from prison.

Avadesh Sagar thanked Allah along with all those who worked to secure his release. He came out of prison after three long years yesterday. Now it is good news among the Indian community in the middle east also showing them that good people are everywhere and in case of a dire need, they are not alone.

In Jeddah, a young Saudi youth has helped paying the Diya (blood money) of 2 crore rupees for freeing an Indian who happens to be driver, from jail.

Avdesh Sagar, the driver was convicted for causing the death of four Saudi citizens in a road accident and as the order of the court he was supposed to be facilitating the collection of nearly a million Riyals as compensation.

This real story has turned into an interesting case that amazing everyone reflects a humanitarian gesture. Out of a sudden when the helpless Indian prisoner had lost all hopes, a Saudi individual emerged as a messiah and helped him. By paying huge blood money he got the Indian released from prison.

Fifty-eight-year-old Avadesh Sagar belongs to UP as a native of Janpur district near Varanasi. Avdesh had lost all hope of seeing the outside world in last three years staying in the prison for a road accident case. He had psychologically prepared himself accepting the fact of the fate that he was going to remain behind bars for the rest of his life.

On one fateful morning, his old 1976 model water tanker rammed into a car on 13th March 2020. This accident resulted in the death of four Saudi citizens out of them were three women and this also left one person with a permanent disability.

Unfortunately, Avadesh Sagar was not covered by any motor insurance and now when he needed his sponsor the most, he also did not come to his aid. He was in the prison in Al Quwaiya village for last three years. And now finally when the court ordered him to pay 9 lakh 45 thousand lakh Riyals which is almost two crore Indian Rupees as Diya along with some other charges.

Father of 8 children – 4 boys and 4 girls,  Avdesh had lost all hopes of walking free from prison. Wife Susheela Devi along with the kids did not know anyone to appeal for help.

By God’s grace, a young Saudi Hadi Hamoud Qaitani, out of a sudden emerged in the picture and plunged into action after coming to know about Sagar’s case. Qaitani offered his help not only to Avadesh Sagar but also to his poor family in India.
