Chants of ‘Modi, Modi’ resounded through the chamber, highlighting warmth among the diaspora and lawmakers.
Speaker Amir Ohana welcomed the guest in Hindi and hailed him as a defining statesman.
Earlier that day, PM Modi held private talks with his Israeli counterpart at Ben-Gurion International Airport. The leaders further exchanged views on regional tensions and agreed to deepen cooperation.
The Israeli PM’s office shared footage of the meeting and described the bond between the two as one of real friendship.
PM Modi posted on X that the discussion proved constructive and fruitful. He thanked his host for the warm reception. Additionally, he noted that deliberations covered technology, water management, agriculture and talent partnerships.
Both sides see scope for collaboration. They also reviewed regional developments and security concerns.
The visit evokes the 2017 trip, which opened avenues in defence, agriculture and water technology.
Today’s engagement continues that trajectory and stresses innovation, trade and people-to-people ties.
The schedule includes a ceremonial reception at the Knesset, an innovation showcase in Jerusalem and a visit to Yad Vashem.
Officials, however, expect agreements in economic, diplomatic and security fields.
Observers remarked on the leaders’ personal chemistry, visible in handshakes and a warm embrace captured in official photographs.
The visual narrative reinforced mutual respect and close ties. The Prime Minister of India will also address the diaspora, acknowledging their role in sustaining bilateral goodwill.
Officials stressed the partnership remains robust and pragmatic. Leaders expect mutual benefits. They emphasised that cooperation must balance strategic interests with regional diplomacy.
The visit aims to deliver concrete outcomes and set a fresh agenda for joint projects.
