Merry Christmas: The holiday season is upon us. Christmas–the festival of joy and cheer is celebrated on 25th of December across the globe. One of the most sacred days in Christianity, the day commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sends his greeting to everyone who is celebrating this festival. He extended his greetings on the occasion of Christmas. Taking to Twitter, Modi said, “Merry Christmas! May this special day further the spirit of harmony and joy in our society. We recall the noble thoughts of Lord Christ and the emphasis on serving society.”

Rahul Gandhi sends his greetings on the occasion of Christmas. Taking to Twitter, he wrote,” Merry Christmas to everyone! May this festive season embrace you all with the joys of love & laughter. ❤️”

Kolkata CM Mamata Banerjee also wishes, she tweeted, “I wish you all a Merry Christmas! In our celebration, let us also imbibe the spirit of peace & service that the life of Jesus Christ epitomised. May this festive season add joy, warmth and prosperity to our lives.”

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to her Instagram account to share selfie with Aaradhya and extended her warm wishes for Christmas to her fans and followers on social media. Sharing the photo, Aishwarya wrote, “Merry Christmas and much love, peace, good health and happiness. God Bless.”

Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created 27ft high, 60ft wide Santa Clause using 1500 kg tomatoes at Gopalpur Beach on the occasion of Christmas.

 

Film director and screenwritter, Gopichand Malineni sends his wishes through his Twitter handle. He tweeted,” Merry Christmas to everyone! From #VeeraSimhaReddy team !!”
