Marco Rubio Warns Of Iran Missile Threat To Europe

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has cautioned that Iran has developed missile systems capable of striking deep into Europe.

Speaking in an interview, Rubio asserted that recent tests contradict Tehran’s earlier denials regarding its capabilities. He stated that Iran is advancing its long-range missile programme.

The US Secretary of State warned that future systems could potentially target the continental United States.

Rubio linked these developments directly to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, arguing that both threats must be addressed simultaneously. He noted that Iran has enriched uranium to 60 per cent purity.

The US Secretary of State stressed that it could escalate to weapons-grade levels within days. According to him, such enrichment holds no civilian justification.

Rubio accused Tehran of rejecting multiple opportunities to relinquish its stockpile. He confirmed that the United States has initiated a coordinated military campaign targeting Iran’s defence infrastructure.

Rubio outlined four core objectives: neutralising the air force, weakening naval strength, degrading missile launch systems, and dismantling drone and missile production facilities. He claimed that operations are progressing on schedule. He added that US forces are close to achieving their strategic goals.

The US Secretary of State described the campaign as highly efficient and tactically sound.

Despite military escalation, Rubio emphasised that Washington remains open to diplomatic engagement. He revealed that indirect communication channels remain active.

Rubio further warned that negotiations would not be allowed to delay operational progress.

Marco Rubio also highlighted concerns over maritime security. He warned that any disruption in the Strait of Hormuz would breach international law. He added that such actions would severely impact global energy supplies and economic stability.
