Israeli Airstrikes Kill Four And Injure 15 In Central Syria

At least four people killed and 15 others injured following Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple military installations in central Syria. The attacks occurred around 11:23 p.m. local time on Sunday, according to the Syrian Ministry of Defence and medical officials.

The airstrikes, launched from the direction of northern Lebanon, struck key military sites in Syria’s central province of Hama. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the strikes resulted in the deaths of three individuals and caused significant material damage.

Syrian air defences engaged and managed to intercept some of the incoming missiles, but many still reached their targets. Later updates from Maher Younes, Director of Health in Hama, reported that the death toll had risen to four, with 15 others injured.

Pro-government Sham FM radio also reported extensive damage to civilian infrastructure, including properties and the power grid, along the Masyaf-Wadi al-Oyoun highway in western Hama. The attack has heightened tensions in the region and raised concerns about further escalation.
