Israel Army Rescues 4 Captives Alive In Gaza

On Saturday, the Israeli military announced that four Israeli captives had been rescued alive from Gaza during a complex daytime operation.

Israel Defense Forces tweeted, “Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40) were rescued in a special operation by the IDF, ISA, and Israel Police from 2 separate locations in the heart of Nuseirat after being kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova music festival”, through its official ‘X’ handle.

“They are in good medical condition and have been transferred to the ‘Sheba’ Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further medical examinations”, IDF continued in its tweet.

IDF went on to say, “We will continue to make every effort to bring the hostages home”.

The exceptional rescue comes after eight months of fighting with Palestinian Hamas militants in Gaza.

During their October 7 attack on the music festival and other regions of southern Israel, militants kidnapped 251 captives, 116 of whom are still in the Palestinian territory, 41 of whom the army claims are dead.

The military stated in a second statement earlier on Saturday that forces were targeting terrorist infrastructure in the area of Nuseirat.
