Hamas: Israeli Troops Kill 6 Police Officers In Rafah

The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said Israeli soldiers killed Palestinian police officers on Tuesday when they were securing the passage of an aid truck.

In a statement, the ministry stated, “Six Palestinian police officers killed as a result of the Israeli occupation targeting their vehicle in the Khirbat al-Adas neighborhood in Rafah”.

According to the witnesses, the officers were securing the passage of a flour truck when an Israeli aircraft struck their car, ripping the passengers to pieces.

Palestinian police personnel have been sent to secure aid convoys traveling through Gaza, where desperate civilians have climbed onboard trucks in quest of crucial supplies.

There have been many strikes on vehicles and structures in Rafah, which houses more than half of Gaza’s population.

According to the Hamas health ministry, since October 7, Israel’s withering military campaign has killed at least 27,585 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.

The war was initiated by an attack on Israel by Hamas operatives, which resulted in the deaths of roughly 1,160 individuals.
