Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, paid a spectacular tribute to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday.
The skyscraper beamed with vibrant visuals of PM Modi and the message ‘Happy Birthday’ flashing across its LED-lit facade.
The Indian tricolour was also displayed, creating a proud moment for Indians around the globe.
The dazzling light display reflected not only birthday celebrations but also the growing recognition of PM Modi’s global stature.
A similar show of lights was seen on 15th August this year, marking India’s Independence Day.
The tribute followed a heartfelt message from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the UAE President wrote, “Sincere congratulations to @NarendraModi on your birthday. I wish you continued good health and happiness, and ongoing success in advancing India’s progress and the prosperity of its people.”
PM Modi responded warmly, stating, “Thank you, my brother, for your warm wishes. I deeply value our close friendship and the mutually beneficial India–UAE partnership, which continues to attain new heights in all areas.”
The UAE was not alone in celebrating the occasion. Leaders from around the world, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, also extended birthday greetings to PM Modi.
Their messages further reflected the Prime Minister’s increasing influence and goodwill on the global stage.
Beyond the official messages, several of PM Modi’s admirers in the UAE organised their own celebratory events.
Videos circulated online showed cake-cutting ceremonies and expressions of birthday wishes shared by Indian expatriates and local fans on social media.
The Burj Khalifa’s grand gesture powerfully symbolises the deepening strategic, cultural, and economic ties between India and the UAE.
Furthermore, from trade and energy cooperation to people-to-people connections, the India-UAE relationship has flourished under the leadership of both nations.
World leaders and global tributes continue to recognise PM Modi’s leadership and showcase India’s rising influence on the global stage in the 21st century.
