China Vetoes Again: Yet Against India-US Move on Terror

The anti-terrorism squad encounters a failure once again. India and America proposed on blacklisting Pakistan based terror outfits which witnessed another veto by China.

As such this was the forth instance of the Chinese bully on the United Nation’s dais. The Uighur-Muslim torture fame China after months now again has blocked another anti-terror bid.

This time it was the US designated Shahid Mahmood a global terrorist whose name topped the list of the defamed global elements in the year 2016.

China did not hesitated put a hold on barring Lashkar-e-Taiba leader Shahid Mahmood as a global terrorist under the 1267 Al Qaeda Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council.

Not strange for India, Beijing has been blocking bids to blacklist Pakistan-based terrorists in this global platform.

The all time ally of Pakistan appears revengeful against India on many counts time and again.

America’s direct action in the year 2016 “to disrupt Lashkar-e Taiba’s (LeT) fundraising and support networks” had witnessed Mahmood as well as another LeT leader Muhammad Sarwar being designated by the US Department of Treasury.

Though it was a failed proposal unitedly by United States and India, it has its significant with the arrival of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to India paying tribute to the victims of the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.
