The Prime Minister is visiting the holy Hindu shrines in Uttarakhand ahead of Diwali. Modi is also laying foundations for ropeway projects on the occasion.
More than Rupees 3,400 crore connectivity projects will PM Modi’s arrival for laying the foundation stone for the ropeway between Kedarnath and Hemkund.
On Friday the 21st, PM Modi is visiting Uttarakhand shrines where he will perform ‘puja’ along with laying the foundation stone of connectivity projects.
As per the schedule in the morning at around 8:30 Modi will perform ‘darshan’ and ‘puja’ at Kedarnath temple and then the ropeway foundation stone function will take place in his presence.
As per the programme list issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Prime Minister will also visit the Adi Guru Shankaracharya Samadhi Sthal where he is to review the progress of development works. Here Mandakini Asthapath and Saraswati Asthapath work is on progress.
Then leaving from there PM Modi will arrive to Badrinath temple for performing the ‘darshan’ and ‘puja.
The 9.7km-long ropeway in Kedarnath is going to connect it to Gaurikund reducing the time spent in travelling between the two places This will significantly lessen the six-seven hours present time to around 30 minutes.
