The colours of the Indian national flag were illuminated on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
After a two-day visit to France, Prime Minister Modi arrived in Abu Dhabi, UAE, today.
The world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is seen lighting up with the Indian tricolour in a video published on Twitter by news agency ANI. The photo of PM Modi was also put on the structure, along with the slogan, “Welcome honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
Following his arrival in the UAE, PM Modi stated that he was looking forward to meeting with HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
PM Modi tweeted, “Landed in Abu Dhabi. I look forward to the deliberations with HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which will further deepen India-UAE cooperation. @MohamedBinZayed”, through his official Twitter handle.
