Bill Gates & Big Tech Leaders Extend Congratulations To President-Elect Trump On Election Victory

Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates, along with several top tech leaders, extended congratulations to President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance following their decisive victory in the US presidential election.

Gates, who had previously shown support for Vice President Kamala Harris, voiced optimism about working together for future progress in the country.

Taking to X, Bill Gates posted, “Congratulations to President Trump and VP-elect Vance. America is at its strongest when we use ingenuity and innovation to improve lives here in the U.S. and around the world. I hope we can work together now to build a brighter future for everyone.”

Bill’s former spouse, Melinda Gates, who also supported Harris during her campaign, had previously praised the Vice President for her commitment to social issues.

During a CBS interview in July, Melinda Gates stated, “I feel like Kamala, I was happy to endorse. I’ve worked with her before, she knows what we need in society and she’s using her voice against those issues already on the campaign trail, and I knew she would.”

Big Tech Leaders Congratulate Trump On Election Win

Gates was among a chorus of Big Tech leaders who publicly congratulated the newly elected administration.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg congratulated Trump, asserting, “Congratulations to President Trump on a decisive victory. We have great opportunities ahead of us as a country. Looking forward to working with you and your administration.”

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared a similar message, emphasizing a forward-looking approach.

“Congratulations President Trump, we’re looking forward to engaging with you and your administration to drive innovation forward that creates new growth and opportunity for the United States and the world,” Nadella posted.

Other tech leaders echoed these sentiments.

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, extended his wishes to Trump. Taking to X, Sam posted, “Congrats to President Trump. I wish for his huge success in the job.”

“It is critically important that the US maintains its lead in developing AI with democratic values,” he added.

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger posted on X, “We congratulate President-Elect Trump and Vice President-Elect Vance on their victory and look forward to working with their administration to advance America’s technology and manufacturing leadership in the world.”

“We congratulate President-elect Trump @realDonaldTrump and Vice President-elect Vance @JDVance and look forward to working with the new Administration and Congress to advance priorities that promote resilience, innovation and competition in America,” posted Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon.
