Bill Ackman Criticised Harvard University Over Processions And Protests Going In The University, Slams Uni Prez Over “Failed Leadership”

The billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has not stopped criticizing Harvard University, his alma mater, saying that the school and its president ignored anti-Semitism on campus following Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel in October. Ackman, 57, shared a video on Sunday that showed a pro-Palestinian student using a bullhorn to interrupt class, shouting about rallies and yelling, “Free free Palestine.”

‘This is what you get at @Harvard for $73,600/year,’ Ackman captioned the photo. With a net worth of $3.8 billion, the founder of Pershing Square Capital Management first earned an MBA in 1992 after graduating from Harvard with a degree in social studies in 1988.

Class disruption prohibited in Harvard

Class disruption is prohibited by the school’s official rule book and is “regarded as unacceptable obstruction of the essential processes of the University.”

This past weekend, a group of University of Pennsylvania students took to the streets, screaming “intifada,” which translates to “uprising.” Along with the video, Ackman also added a caption that said, “Stop telling American Jews not to worry.”

Constant demonstrations going on in Harvard

Harvard Hillel, a Jewish student organization on campus, stated on Instagram that demonstrators yelling to “globalize the intifada” and “eliminate Israel ‘from the river to the sea” had interrupted courses.

“The University’s community standards do not protect antisemitic speech, which is represented by these calls for genocide and anti-Jewish violence throughout the world,” the Hillel statement stated.

Harvard President criticized for “failed leadership”

Ackman criticized Harvard President Claudine Gray last week for her “failed leadership” and referred to her decision to cancel as a “insult.” After the documentary is shown at Harvard, Ackman,57, volunteered to fly Gay to Washington, D.C., where she will speak before Congress regarding the surge in anti-Semitism at the university.

However, the head of the institution has turned down the invitation; in an email response, her chief of staff said she is “out of town.”

‘I can’t imagine anything more important for the Harvard President to do now than to bear witness to the atrocities before testifying about the Hamas protests and antisemitism on campus,’ Ackman wrote on X.
