Yogi Government’s Employment Fairs To Offer 70,000 Jobs Across Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: The Yogi government is actively boosting employment in Uttar Pradesh through new initiatives. On August 17 and 18, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission will host large employment fairs in Ambedkar Nagar and Ayodhya. These events will offer over 70,000 job opportunities through around 150 reputable companies.

Key Details of the Employment Fairs

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the fairs, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, Government Industrial Training Institute, Directorate of Training and Service Planning, and MSME Department. The fairs will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, open to students from the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, ITI, and other general students.

On August 18, the fair will take place at Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University in Kumarganj, Ayodhya. More than 100 companies will offer over 50,000 vacancies, including major firms like Accenture, Adani, Bajaj Auto, Flipkart, and Tata Motors.

On August 17, the fair will be held at Dev Indravati Mahavidyalaya Campus, Katehari, Ambedkar Nagar, with 46 companies offering more than 21,000 vacancies. Notable participants include Flipkart, Lava International, and Oreo Biscuits.

The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, Government ITI Ambedkar Nagar, and District Employment and Deputy Commissioner Industries Department Ambedkar Nagar are jointly organizing the events. Interested candidates should bring their biodata and educational documents to maximize their chances.

The Yogi government aims to provide both government and private sector employment opportunities. Through these fairs, the government plans to employ a significant number of youth in private companies throughout 2024. Over the past seven and a half years, the government has successfully provided more than 6.5 lakh government jobs, linked over 3.75 lakh youth to contract jobs, and offered employment to two crore people in the private sector/MSME.
