Taking stock of the preparations, CM Yogi instructed for Dev Deepawali

CM Yogi took stock of the preparations for Dev Deepawali while giving significant instructions to the officers in Varanasi.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath visited Varanasi on Sunday. During this, he took stock of the preparations for Dev Deepawali. The Chief Minister held a meeting with the top officials in the Circuit House auditorium and took detailed information on the preparations and gave necessary guidelines to them. Along with this, the Chief Minister reviewed the preparations for the upcoming “Kashi-Tamil Sangamam” to be held in Varanasi for a month from November 17. After this, he took stock of the decoration made for Dev Deepawali by riding on Roro in the Ganges from ‘Namo Ghat’.

PM Modi is also to virtually join Kashi Tamil Samagam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join virtually on November 19 during the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam program. In the light of the PM’s virtual presence, preparations are also being made in full swing. During the meeting at the Circuit House, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed the officials to make high-level arrangements for all the preparations for ‘Kashi-Tamil Sangam’.

The Chief Minister also said, “Tamil language has its origin from Lord Shiva, so there can be no better place for this program than Kashi. The delegation members who come during the program should be welcomed by the Damru team on the first day, and on the second day by reciting Vedic mantras.

Instructions for NDRF to remain alert on Dev Deepawali

On the occasion of Dev Deepawali, the Chief Minister directed to control the stray animals, laying special emphasis on keeping the traffic system tidy and not allowing any kind of trouble to the general public. Due to  the lack of cleanliness at Manikarnika Ghat, the Chief Minister directed to ensure proper sanitation with toilet facilities. He instructed the people of the NDRF and the Police to be fully active while instructing not to operate the boat in a state of intoxication.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also gave instructions regarding the duty of policemen. He clearly said that special counseling of policemen should be done during Dev Deepawali. So that, while on duty, their behavior towards the general public is good. Instructions were also given to arrange CCTV cameras at the necessary places for the program. It was also emphasized that Varanasi is the parliamentary constituency of the Prime Minister. Therefore, the eyes of the whole world will be on the programs here. In this case there should be no negligence seen in and around the city.
