Lucknow – On July 27, 2024, Madrasa Iram Model Niswan School in Chaupatian, Lucknow, hosted a science exhibition and seminar to mark the 9th death anniversary of Bharat Ratna, former President, and great scientist Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
The event took place under the chairmanship of Shri Danish Azad Ansari, Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf, and Haj, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Students from various madrasas in the district participated and demonstrated various dimensions of science through live models. Shri Son Kumar, District Minority Welfare Officer of Lucknow, also attended the event.
The Honorable Minister visited the science exhibition and praised the students’ models. In his address, he highlighted the changes happening in madrasas, noting that along with religious education, students are now also receiving modern science education. As a result, madrasa students are achieving success in various fields. He assured the students that the government would provide all possible support in their chosen fields.
Dr. Bajmi Yunus, manager of Iram Educational Society, director Engineer Faizi Yunus, secretary Engineer Saifi Yunus, and various principals and teachers were also present at the event.
