Keeping the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023, the Trophy Tour has been announced by the Hockey India.
Now when there are fifty more days to go for the start of the highly anticipated FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 (Bhubaneswar-Rourkela), Hockey India starts its practical preparation.
The national hockey body today announced a Trophy Tour, and during the matches of the Trophy, the prestigious World Cup trophy will also be taken across various parts of India.
As per the official reports, the Tour is going to kick off from 05 December 2022 with Naveen Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Odisha, handing over the trophy to Dr Dilip Tirkey, Hockey India president in Bhubaneswar.
Now as per the schedule , the prestigious trophy is going to travel across twelve states along with one Union territory, before it returns to Bhubaneswar.
The 21-day tour is going to witness the trophy move across Manipur, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, New Delhi, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala before it finally returns to Odisha on December 25, 2022. After completion of this national tour, the trophy will then go on an Odisha tour.

December 17 – Delhi
December 18 – Bhopal, MP

December 20 -Mumbai, MN

December 23 & December 24 – Bengaluru, KA
December 25 – Trophy reaches Bhubaneswar for Odisha tour
