Increased risk of corona in India
Corona Virus: Corona virus has created a furore in China. Omicron’s new sub-variant BF.7 variant has created a stir. The condition in China is getting so bad that the number of patients in hospitals is continuously increasing. People are not getting beds. The increasing outbreak of Corona virus in China has increased India’s concern. Now this variant (BF.7) has been entered in India as well. So far four cases infected with Omicron’s sub-variant BF.7 have been confirmed in India. In view of the new threat of Corona virus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will review the situation related to Corona in the country in a high-level meeting this afternoon.
A high-level meeting was called by Health Ministry Mansukh Mandaviya yesterday (Wednesday) in view of the vigilance from Corona in India. In which many important decisions were taken. After which NITI Aayog member VK Paul had also advised to wear masks in public places.
In view of the increasing cases of corona, the Ministry of Health has issued an advisory. It has been said that all the states should get maximum genome sequencing done of the patients infected with corona, so that the variants can be detected. Apart from this, orders have also been given at airports for random checking of passengers coming from abroad. BF.7 variant has been confirmed in two new cases of corona virus in Gujarat and one patient in Odisha. The report of a 61-year-old NRI woman in Gujarat has been found to be Kovid positive. That woman had three doses of the vaccine.
Omicron’s sub variant BF.7 is wreaking havoc in China. Since the time Kovid-19 started, since then many of its sub-variants have been developed. One of these sub-variants is BF.7 which is capable of spreading the infection very quickly. Due to this variant, offices and public places in China have become deserted. At the same time, there are long queues of patients in the hospitals.

The characteristics of this variant are similar to the other sub-variants of Omicron. Due to this, the infected person may have symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, vomiting and diarrhea. This sub-variant can pose a serious threat to people with a weak immune system. Those who have taken the vaccine. Scientists suspect that the reproduction number of the BF.7 sub-variant ie R is 10 to 18.6. This means that a person infected with BF.7 can infect 10 to 18.6 people with corona.
