Finally Approved!: Now India will watch Women’s IPL soon

Now it has finally been a reality after awaiting for so long, now the Women IPL has got approved at BCCI AGM.

The October, 18, 2022 will be remembered for the day in history when the Women’s IPL has finally become a reality. Today the BCCI AG meeting gave it the final nod.

So far there were several reports and insubstantial claims also which were speculating for this to happen. But the IPL-style league for the women’s cricketers was always in dole drums going nowhere to the final decision.

Now today the final approval has taken all the obstacles away from it. The approval by the BCCI will be remembered among other key decisions taken at the AGM today.

Among other key decisions the one most significant out of them was the election of the new BCCI president which saw Roger Binny as the new Chief of the Indian Cricket Board.

With the go ahead by the general body to the Women IPL after several delays has come to a positive end finally. Now when women cricket is gaining much bigger audience and viewership in India, it was kind of just a formality. And after taking months on this now finally in Mumbai today the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally put pen on paper over the historic decision.

Women’s IPL now has been set to be launched in 2023. And it supposedly is going to be played immediately after the Women’s WC Cup in 2023 which is expected to conclude before the start of the Men’s IIPL.
