Delhi Weather Update: Temperatures To Reach 36°C, AQI Satisfactory

Delhi and most parts of the National Capital Region are likely to experience mostly dry weather on Saturday, with partly cloudy skies and no major spell of rain forecast, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Delhi may reach 34–36°C, with lows of 22–24°C. The IMD issued no warning as the Southwest Monsoon retreats from northwest India, keeping Delhi mostly dry.

Some NCR areas could see isolated weather changes. Gurugram is likely to remain partly cloudy, with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers possible during the day.

Several parts of Maharashtra are also likely to receive rainfall on Saturday, including Pune, Nashik, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara.

The IMD has also forecast scattered showers and thunderstorms over Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and West Rajasthan.

East Uttar Pradesh may experience similar conditions on Saturday and Sunday, while Himachal Pradesh is likely to receive isolated rainfall with thunderstorms through September 24.

Central India could see more active weather, with parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh likely to receive widespread rainfall and thunderstorms.

Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep may also experience fairly widespread rainfall through September 24, while parts of Karnataka and Telangana could receive showers.

Meanwhile, Delhi’s air quality remained in the satisfactory category. Several monitoring stations recorded AQI levels below 150, including Burari Crossing (99), Pusa (89), Aya Nagar (75), ITO (88), DTU (94), Rohini (107) and Dwarka Sector 8 (116).
