Delhi NCR Weather Forecast Brings Relief From Heat Next Week

Residents of Delhi-NCR are likely to get relief from intense summer heat over the coming week, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting no severe heatwave conditions across the region.

The weather agency expects maximum temperatures to remain around or below 40°C during the next seven days, while intermittent rain and thunderstorms are likely to bring respite from heat and humidity.

According to the IMD, cloud cover, rainfall and changing weather patterns will help keep temperatures under control.

On June 25, Delhi-NCR is likely to record a maximum temperature of around 39°C and a minimum of 27°C, with partly cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms in some areas.

Rain and thunderstorms are likely to be widespread on June 26, while temperatures are likely to remain around 38°C, with a minimum of 28°C.

Similar weather conditions may continue on June 27, as rainfall and cloud cover provide relief from humidity.

On June 28, temperatures could briefly touch 40°C, but strong surface winds are expected to ease discomfort and reduce the impact of the heat.

Rainfall activity may remain lower on that day compared with the rest of the week.

The IMD has also forecast additional spells of rain and thunderstorms on June 29 and June 30.

During this period, maximum temperatures are likely to range between 38°C and 39°C, while minimum temperatures may remain between 28°C and 29°C.

The Meteorological Department has not issued any heatwave warnings for the forecast period.

Experts believe cloud cover, rainfall and intermittent winds will prevent temperatures from rising sharply, offering residents a welcome break from the extreme heat experienced in recent weeks.
