Vivo has confirmed that it will soon introduce the Vivo V70 series in India, expanding its premium smartphone portfolio.
The lineup will include two models — the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite — with several specifications already revealed ahead of the official launch.
A dedicated microsite on Flipkart indicates that both smartphones will go on sale through the e-commerce platform. Vivo has also confirmed that Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets will power the devices.
The Vivo V70 will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the higher-end Vivo V70 Elite will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
Both models will offer rear camera systems developed in collaboration with Zeiss. Reports suggest that the smartphones could feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The devices are expected to feature 6.59-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Vivo has not announced an official launch date yet. Industry sources suggest the company may unveil the timeline in the coming weeks.
A tipster claims that pricing for the V70 series could remain under Rs. 55,000 in India. Vivo is expected to launch the V70 in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, while it may offer the V70 Elite in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Black.
The Vivo V70 is tipped to house a 6,500mAh battery with 55W wired charging. It may also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Vivo has yet to officially confirm these specifications.
