Redmi K90 Pro Max Set For October 23 Launch In China With Bose-Tuned Audio

Redmi has officially announced that the K90 Pro Max 5G will launch in China on October 23, debuting alongside the standard Redmi K90 model.

The company has released official teasers showcasing the phone’s distinctive design and use of premium materials, hinting at a more refined look compared to its predecessors.

The device will be available in a denim-textured blue variant with a dual-tone finish featuring a silver middle frame and matching camera module. Redmi will also offer another variant, Flowing Gold White, at launch.

The Redmi K90 Pro Max sports a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, framed by narrow bezels.

The rectangular rear camera module includes four circular cutouts arranged in a 2×2 grid, with three housing the primary camera sensors, including a periscope telephoto lens, and the fourth likely accommodating a secondary sensor. An LED flash sits between the lenses.

The device’s back features a nano-leather material developed to resist UV exposure, yellowing, and dirt while remaining soft to the touch. The device places the power and volume buttons on the right-hand side.

Audio and Performance

Redmi has partnered with Bose to enhance the phone’s audio capabilities. The rear panel features a circular section marked ‘Sound by Bose’, signalling a focus on high-quality sound and premium speaker output.

Under the hood, the K90 Pro Max is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, ensuring top-tier performance. Industry reports also suggest support for up to 100W wired fast charging, promising rapid battery replenishment.

With its premium audio, innovative materials, and powerful chipset, the Redmi K90 Pro Max aims to combine performance and style for enthusiasts.

The launch on October 23 will mark the official debut of this high-end 5G smartphone in China, with global tech observers keenly awaiting further specifications and pricing details.
