Apple, known for consistently looking forward, has launched a new Instagram account, ‘helloapple’, coinciding with the promotion of its affordable MacBook Neo and other products aimed at younger users.
The account features a post sharing a letter from CEO Tim Cook titled ’50 Years of Thinking Different’, celebrating Apple’s journey and the upcoming milestone on April 1.
The post showcases Apple’s original rainbow-coloured logo, sketched using an Apple Pencil, alongside references to the iconic ‘Here’s to the crazy ones’ text from the Think Different campaign (1997–2002).
Cook highlights Apple’s founding philosophy: that technology should be personal, a belief that revolutionised computing. He notes that Apple has spent five decades rethinking possibilities and delivering tools that empower people worldwide.
In his letter, Cook reflects on Apple’s evolution from the first Apple computer to the Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and services such as the App Store, Apple Music, Apple Pay, iCloud, and Apple TV.
